Space-Themed Restaurant Lands in Future World at Epcot

Last summer, we shared the news that a one-of-a-kind, space-themed restaurant is currently planned for Epcot® that’ll offer you amazing meals and a spectacular view – from high above Earth.

Today, we’re happy to share that this restaurant will be built in a newly developed area located between the park’s Mission: SPACE and Test Track attractions.

Once completed, the restaurant will invite you to travel to space for an amazing dining experience in the stars. The new restaurant will be operated by the Patina Restaurant Group, led by Nick Valenti, which operates several other restaurants around Walt Disney World® Resort, including Tutto Italia and Via Napoli at Epcot and Morimoto Asia and Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante at Disney Springs®.

But Epcot Guests don’t have to wait until the restaurant opens to enjoy a thrilling adventure in space. Last summer, the park’s Mission: SPACE attraction launched new experiences: the enhanced Orange Mission offers a truly intense experience that lets you feel the force of an actual space launch en route to Mars; while the all-new, family-friendly Green Mission takes them on an exciting orbit around Earth.

And this summer – starting June 9, 2018 – Star-Lord and Gamora from “Guardians of the Galaxy” will take you on a musical journey through the cosmos in “Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix Live!” as a part of  “Incredible Summer” at Walt Disney World Resort. You can catch “Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix Live!” at the America Gardens Theatre at Epcot, five times a day from June 9-Aug. 19, 2018.

Stay tuned for more details about this new space-themed restaurant.

Pirates Of the Caribbean At Walt Disney World Reopens March 19th With New Auction Scene

When Pirates of the Caribbean reopens at Magic Kingdom® Park March 19, 2018, your Clients will be introduced to the new version of the attraction’s auction scene we first announced last summer.

Just as Walt Disney embraced and encouraged Disney Parks to “keep moving forward” since the opening of Disneyland Park in 1955, Walt Disney Imagineering has introduced many new characters at Pirates of the Caribbean attraction over the years.

The pirate auctioneer now oversees a sale of the townspeople’s most prized possessions and goods. In this scene, the familiar redhead figure has switched sides to become a pirate named Redd, who’s just pillaged the town’s rum supply and has something to say about it.

As we previously shared, the auction scene in the attraction at Disneyland Paris received a similar revision last year. Disneyland® Park will also receive similar updates to its Pirates of the Caribbean attraction later this spring, with work beginning April 23, 2018.

25th EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival

It's the 25th anniversary of the Epcot® International Flower and Garden Festival, and the park is once again overflowing with the brightest plants, flowers, trees and topiaries adorning both Future World and World Showcase.

Flower and Garden Festival 2018

Here are some of the top things you shouldn’t miss at the Festival:

  • Gardens, Gardens and More Gardens: In addition to all the natural flora throughout the park, the Walt Disney World® horticulture squad has curated some truly breathtaking gardens for Guests to enjoy this year. New garden destinations this year include “The How-To Garden” and “The Imagination Play Garden” which are perfect for adults and kids to enjoy together. Returning favorites include “The Goodness Garden Butterfly House” and “The Water Wise Garden,” which showcase environmental responsibility as well as just being fun!
  • Outdoor Kitchens: What would an Epcot Festival be without fun food and drinks? 15 Outdoor Kitchens this year grace World Showcase, with the newest being “The Honey Bee-Stro,” which features Roasted Cauliflower with Buckwheat Honey Carrot Purée; Honey Tandoori Chicken Flatbread with White Cheddar Cheese; and Local Wildflower Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake with Orange Blossom Honey Ice Cream garnished with Fennel Pollen Meringue Kisses. These dishes were created to showcase multiple honey varietals in creative and exciting ways. Returning Outdoor Kitchen favorites include “The Berry Basket” (featuring a lamb chop with quinoa salad and blackberry gastrique) and “THE SMOKEHOUSE: Barbecue and Brew” (featuring a pulled-pork slider and warm chocolate cake with Bourbon-salted caramel sauce and spiced pecans). YUM!
  • Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration: One of the beloved characters from Disney animated short cartoons, Spike the honeybee, has been “pollen-nating” throughout the Festival. In this springtime scavenger hunt, gardeners of all ages can follow Spike on his pollination trail around World Showcase, where he will “bee” busy collecting nectar and pollinating gardens at Epcot. To get started, you can purchase their map and stickers at Port of Entry. Available while supplies last.
  • Garden Rocks Concert Series: Each Friday through Monday of the Festival (what we like to call a “Disney Weekend”), favorite artists from the ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s, ‘90s and 2000s will rock out at the America Gardens Theatre. Rick Springfield, Survivor and Lonestar are just some of the popular rock and rollers in the lineup. Each night, there will be three performances – 5:30, 6:45 and 8 p.m. – and you can pair a wonderful meal at several of our Epcot restaurants with reserved concert seating in a nice package. Visit or call 407-WDW-DINE to book today!
  • Character Topiaries: Locations throughout the park feature some of the most beloved Disney and Disney•Pixar characters including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Lady and The Tramp and Buzz Lightyear.
  • Merchandise: Guests will find a wealth of hats, T-shirts, mugs and other fun Festival merchandise throughout Future World and World Showcase.
  • Tours: One of the great ways to get the “inside track” on the Festival or the latest in gardening techniques is to take one of the tours offered during the Festival. There are tours of The Land pavilion greenhouses and the “Gardens of the World – Spring Edition.” There is also the daily Royal Tea Garden Tour at the United Kingdom pavilion that includes a tea tasting. Call 407-WDW-TOUR for more information, or to book tours.

If you are coming to this year’s festival, make sure you plan on more than one day to see, smell, hear, touch and taste everything.

A DJ-powered dance party will mix tunes from the truck-o-saurus stage, capping the nighttime festivities.

Here, travelers are transported to a mystical world of floating mountains, bioluminescent rainforests and breathtaking new experiences. Inspired by the blockbuster film, AVATAR, the epic land invites guests to explore a glowing landscape, encounter a larger-than-life Na’vi Shaman of Songs and soar on the back of a banshee.

Is A Coco-themed Attraction In Disney's Future?

Just as Maelstrom at EPCOT was changed into Frozen Ever After, we're calling that the Gran Fiesta Tour in the Mexico Pavilion will change to a Coco-themed attraction in the near future. When we were last there Coco was fresh in theaters and doing very well. As soon as we jumped onto the Gran Fiesta Tour attraction it just hit us; this could very well be changed into a Coco attraction.

While the Gran Fiesta Tour is a classic in our book, the younger generations don't know who the Three Caballeros are or any of the films they were in. The latest we've seen of them was in one of the new Mickey Cartoons but only for a brief second.

With the success of Frozen Ever After replacing Maelstrom it just makes sense that Disney would change the Gran Fiesta Tour into Coco. It would represent the Mexico Pavilion well and would be a great update to current characters that the younger generations know. Plus the Grand Fiesta Tour is all about music and so is Coco!

While Disney has not revealed any plans to change the Gran Fiesta Tour at this point, we're calling it right now. Coco!

Toy Story Land Will Open June 30th at Walt Disney World

It’s official! Toy Story Land, the highly-anticipated toy-filled land inspired by the beloved “Toy Story” films, will open to Guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® June 30, 2018.

When it opens, Guests visiting Toy Story Land will “shrink” to the size of a toy and join in on the fun Woody, Jessie, Buzz, and Andy’s other beloved toys are having in Andy’s backyard. Here, your Clients can take a ride on Slinky Dog Dash, a roller coaster Andy has assembled from his Mega Coaster Play Kit and topped off with Slinky and Jessie. (Check out the time-lapse video below of one of Slinky Dog Dash’s first test runs).

Families will also be able to take a spin on Alien Swirling Saucers, a galactic play set that Andy won from Pizza Planet. Here, adorable little green aliens swirl about in their flying saucers with guests in tow in their rocket ship toys, while “The Claw” hangs overhead.

You can also walk through a new carnival game box to experience Toy Story Mania!, which has been a Guest-favorite attraction at the park since it opened in 2008. Now expanded with a third track, the popular attraction will put even more Guests in the action taking aim at 3D objects – using everything from baseballs to cream pies – in a variety of whimsical, fast-paced games.

Woody’s Lunch Box – actually, Andy’s lunch box that he’s set on its side – will serve up tasty meals and old-fashioned soda floats from a walk-up window setting. The entire land will serve as a visual celebration of toys, with Crayons, Cooties, Green Army Men, Rubik’s Cubes, Tinkertoys, and other familiar toys and game pieces incorporated into the land’s design.

Last summer, we announced plans for an immersive Star Wars-inspired resort to be built at Walt Disney World® Resort. Tonight we’re happy to share more details on what this thrilling new resort, which will be seamlessly connected to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®, will be like.

This first-of-its-kind resort will combine luxury with complete immersion into an authentic Star Wars story. Guests’ journey through space will start when everyone departs together for a multi-day Stars Wars adventure by boarding a starship alive with characters and stories that unfold all around them during a voyage through the galaxy.

At the resort, Guests immediately become active citizens of the galaxy and can dress up in the proper attire. Every resort window will also have a view into space. The opportunity for immersion at this resort will also stand out among all Disney resorts around the globe, as it will be seamlessly connected to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, allowing guests a total Star Wars experience.

Stay tuned for future updates on this fascinating place!

Our first Mickey-themed ride-through attraction, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®, is opening in 2019 – and we have new, exciting details to share!

During D23 Expo Japan, Bob Chapek, Chairman of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, announced the opening year and showed how we’re pulling out all of the stops to make Mickey’s first attraction an unbelievable experience for everyone. Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will feature a new catchy theme song created especially for the attraction as well as a new experience that defies logic that we’re calling 2 ½-D. No glasses required.

Mickey and Minnie Runaway Railway

On the attraction, the fun begins when Guests see the premiere of a new cartoon short with Mickey and Minnie getting ready for a picnic. As they head out, they drive alongside a train and find out that the engineer is Goofy. Then, one magical moment lets you step into the movie and on Goofy’s train for a wacky, wild ride.

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will put you inside the wacky and unpredictable world of a Mickey Mouse Cartoon Short where they’re the star and anything can happen. And for the first time, we shared a preview of what the cars will look like when Guests board the attraction for a zany, out-of-control adventure filled with surprising twists and turns.

The teams helping create the attraction are currently working with partners at Disney Television Animation—the people who create the popular and award-winning Mickey Shorts – to keep the characters and story authentic and to make sure you’re able to step through the movie screen and join Mickey and his friends like never before.

Stay tuned to Disney Travel News for future updates on the Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.

2018 Disney Parks and Resorts Price Increase

The 2018 price increase effects guests in more than just one way (higher prices). The following details have been released concerning the new price increase:

We know how important making memories at Disney theme parks is to families and we will continue to evolve our pricing in way that gives families a range of options to meet their budget and helps better spread attendance throughout the year so they can make the most of every visit.

Disneyland® Resort

Effective Feb. 11, 2018 ticket prices, including Annual Passport prices at Disneyland Resort will be adjusted. As a part of this adjustment, the Annual Passport renewal discount will be discontinued.

Walt Disney World® Resort

Effective Feb. 11, 2018, ticket prices at Walt Disney World Resort will be adjusted. Other price adjustments include theme park parking, theme park lockers and Minnie Van service.

As previously shared, later this year, Walt Disney World Resort plans to implement date-based pricing. Given the small percentage of Guests that purchase a 1-day ticket at Walt Disney World, extending pre-published, date-specific pricing to multi-day tickets will further advance our efforts spread to attendance throughout the year and ensure all Guests have a magical experience no matter when they visit.

Remember you can still get discounted Disneyland tickets at 2017 pricing with Park Savers for a limited-time!

'Incredible Summer' Coming to Walt Disney World

This summer, beloved stories from several Disney films will come to life at Walt Disney World® Resort in the form of new attractions, entertainment, experiences and more at all four parks, setting up summer 2018 to truly be an “Incredible Summer.”

Here’s what you can expect at each Walt Disney World® Resort location.

The Incredibles Take Over Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom® Park – You can party with Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, and Frozone from Disney•Pixar’s “The Incredibles” and the soon-to-be blockbuster “Incredibles 2.” Edna Mode, the greatest superhero costume designer, will also make her debut appearance. The Guardians of the Galaxy Take the Stage at Epcot® – StarLord, and Gamora from “The Guardians of the Galaxy” will join an alien band, taking you on a journey through the cosmos. The party will feature hits from Awesome Mix Tapes 1 and 2 – fun and favorite tunes from the two movies’ soundtracks – building the anticipation for a new Epcot Guardians of the Galaxy attraction.

“Adventurers Meet UP! A Great Bird Adventure” & A “Dino-Tastic” Celebration for Donald Duck Will Debut At Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park – Two new can’t-miss offerings will debut at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in time for the park’s 20th anniversary. First, you can discover new bird species from around the world at the new show “Adventurers Meet UP! A Great Bird Adventure,” which will star Senior Wilderness Explorer Russell and his furry friend Dug. The park will also launch a “dino-tastic” celebration, in which Donald Duck takes over Dinoland, U.S.A., in a new character celebration.

And last, but not least …

Toy Story Land Opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® – One major highlight of “Incredible Summer” will be the grand opening of Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This new 11-acre land will shrink guests to the size of a toy and allow them go explore the fun and adventure of Andy’s backyard. There, your Clients can experience two new attractions: the family coaster Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers. Toy Story Land also will feature an existing guest-favorite attraction, Toy Story Mania!, which will expand to add a third track into the rotation. The land’s Woody’s Lunch Box will be a new quick-service restaurant that will offer up tasty meals and old-fashioned soda floats to Toy Story Land Guests.

Getting Around the Disney Parks For Less

Part of your Disney vacation experience includes a lot of travelling. Not just getting to the parks but once you arrive as well. While there are several options out there for transportation there are only a few that we would recommend.

Airport Transportation

Once you've arrived to LA or Orlando you still need to figure out how to get from the airport to your hotel or the resort. In Orlando if you're staying on property we would always suggest using Disney's Magical Express, a free shuttle bus from MCO to your hotel. You can schedule the bus here after you've booked your property hotel.

In Anaheim, if you've flown into SNA - Orange County or LAX you can take the Disneyland Express. It will drop you off at your hotel and is typically available every hour. Book your reservation in advance here or just pay once you get on the bus. Use coupon code AOC to save $10 off a RT ticket from LAX.

For everyone else we would suggest using LYFT or Uber to help you get from the airport to your hotel or the resort. They are much cheaper than a taxi and are readily available for all airports. A trip from Long Beach Airport or Orange County Airport will cost you about $25 for up to 4 people. From LAX it will cost your about $35-$40.

From Orlando Intl. Airport to Walt Disney World it will cost you about $40, again, if you didn't sign up for the free transportation on Disney's Magical Express.

Getting a ride is as simple as installing the app for either company and request your first ride. You can even use our LYFT coupon code parksavers50 or Uber code uberparksavers20. You'll receive up to $20 off your first ride with each company.

Getting Around the Resort

Once you're at the parks getting around when needed can also get pricey if you're thinking about renting a car or taking taxi's.

One thing to keep in mind is that rental cars cost per day but they also can incur parking fees at your hotel and/or the parks. This adds up fast with parking costing $20+ per day and a hotel parking fee of $10+ per day.

In Orlando at Disney World be sure to utilize the free bus transportation from your hotel to the parks and from park to park. This is available to all guests whether you're staying on property or not.

Now if you don't want to wait in long bus lines or you need to get to a store for any reason we would suggest taking a LYFT or Uber. From park to park they can be as little as $6-$8 per ride and are readily available.

At Disneyland in Anaheim we would suggest doing the same, using a LYFT or Uber to get around. There is a LYFT and Uber drop off point just outside the main entrance on the East side of the Resort or you can have them drop you off at Downtown Disney. Do not ask them to drop you off at a Disney Hotel. For security reasons the Cast Members will have the driver take you elsewhere as the hotel is for registered guests only.

Following these suggestions can help you save several hundred dollars on your next Disney vacation just in the transportation part of your trip. For even more savings on hotels, packages and tickets be sure to visit

A Crash Course on Disney's Fastpass and MaxPass

A Disney vacation is a huge event for many people. Some people have been planning their dream trip to Disneyland since they were children themselves, and others want to make sure their kids have the best time possible. But when 50,000 people are trying to live the exact same dream, at the exact same time, on the exact same day, those lines can get long. That’s why Disney originally implemented the FastPass program. And to further streamline your Disney vacation, the parks have continued to develop and evolve the program, allowing people to make the most of their vacations and see all the attractions they want to see. So how does it work?

While the FastPass program has gone through several iterations since its inception, the basic concept has remained the same: guests can check in at certain attractions and, instead of standing in line to get on the ride, they can wait in a virtual queue and return at an assigned time to jump to the front of the line. The guest still has to wait for the ride, but they don’t have to stand around in a line while they wait. Instead, they can visit other rides, grab a bite to eat, or just take a break out of the sun. When guests scan their tickets, they will receive a slip of paper with a reminder of the time they can come back to skip the line. That slip of paper isn’t a ticket, though, and it’s not necessary to keep it. It’s meant only as a reminder of the time they need to return. To actually get into the ride, they’ll need to scan the ticket they used to get into the park. (This ticket might be on their cell phones. If so, make sure to keep your battery charged!)

Fastpass Disney World

One of the changes Disneyland and Disney World have made to the FastPass in recent years is the addition of FastPass+. This is a program that allows guests to not only grab a pass to skip the line, but to actually reserve a spot for themselves before ever stepping foot into the park. The FastPass+ service is a free part of admission to the park, whether you’ve purchased a deluxe resort package or have found a deal on some discount Disneyland tickets for your family, though guests with a reservation at a resort hotel can make reservations up to 60 days before the date they will actually be visiting the park. Other guests can begin making reservations up to 30 days in advance. Each guest can have up to three FastPass+ reservations each day, but they all have to be within the same park. Once they use one of the reserved FastPasses, they can go to a designated kiosk inside the park and reserve another. Each ride only has a limited number of FastPass+ reservations available, though, so once all of those slots have been spoken for, FastPass+ won’t work for it. You can still use the normal FastPass system to ride, though, by going to the ride’s entrance, scanning your ticket, and coming back at the time it assigns you.

MaxPass Disneyland

Starting this summer, Disney added a premium addition to the FastPass for visitors to Disneyland, called the MaxPass, for an additional $10 per visitor. (MaxPass is currently not available at Disney World.) Normally, to get a FastPass (aside from the FastPass+ reservations), visitors need to go to the entrance to the rides and shows they want to visit, scan their ticket, and receive an assignment of when to return. With the MaxPass, however, guests don’t have to trek all the way to the ride entrance. Instead, they can use the Disneyland app to check in from anywhere inside either Disneyland or California Adventure. Often, MaxPass return times will also be shorter than regular FastPass times.

In addition to letting guests check in for FastPasses on their phones, MaxPass also allows guests to download their professional photos from around the park for free, as well as the photos taken on certain rides like Splash Mountain. Just remember to download them the day they were taken. (If you have an annual pass, you can download them any time before your annual pass expires.) You can download the pictures by using the Disneyland app to enter the photo identification number from the screens displaying the photos as you walk out of the ride area.

Even if guests have already purchased their tickets, they can add MaxPass to their admissions by logging into their account and purchasing the upgrade for $10. The pass must be purchased for each admission, and each is good for only one day. Season Pass holders can upgrade their passes to include MaxPass for $75 for the entire season.

How to Use MaxPass

To reserve rides from your phone using Disney’s MaxPass, follow these simple steps:

  1. Download the Disneyland app onto either an iOS or Android smartphone and log in to your account.

  2. Make sure your ticket(s) are linked to your account by going to the “My Tickets” tab and scanning them in.

  3. Select FastPass from the home screen.

  4. Choose either Disneyland or California Adventure—you can reserve FastPasses in either, as long as you are inside one of the two.

  5. Select the attraction you want to visit. It will display the next available time. If that time doesn’t work, you’ll need to select a different attraction.

That’s seriously all it takes. Once you confirm your FastPass selection, the app will display how long you have until you can reserve another FastPass. You can only have one FastPass reserved at a time, and you have to wait a certain amount of time before you can reserve another. Keep in mind that while you can get FastPasses for shows like Fantasmic! and World of Color, MaxPass can only be used for rides. Shows will require you to use the paper FastPass system. Also, remember that once you’ve reserved a FastPass on your phone using MaxPass, you don’t need to scan your phone to get in. Because your Disneyland app is connected to your tickets, you can just scan your regular tickets to use your FastPass reservation. If you’ve already got a FastPass reservation, but decide you would rather cancel that reservation and get a new reservation for a different ride, you can also do that via the Disneyland app.

A Few Final Words

One thing to keep in mind is that the Disney parks are very clear that FastPasses aren’t always available for every ride. They only reserve a few openings in each time slot, and when those reservations are gone, that’s it. Each person in your group who is riding has to have their own reservation, so you can’t just have one person get a reservation and then expect your entire party to be able to ride. Make sure to keep your admission tickets with you all day, because they will be required for you to use your FastPasses.

Crowds are basically a guarantee when you visit Disneyland, but with the right planning, you and your friends and family can still enjoy all of the rides and attractions you want. Just remember to plan your routes, get your FastPasses early, and take advantages of days outside of the parks’ peak times. When you do that, it’s just as good as wishing on a star, and you’ll get the same result: “Your dreams come true.”

Discount Disney World Tickets for 2017

Discount Disney World Tickets

Even though 2017 is more than halfway over there are still great discounts to be had for Walt Disney World! For instance, Park Savers is offering a 7-Day Park Hopper Ticket for LESS than the price of a 5-Day ticket. That's 2 free days! Don't miss out on this great deal as it won't last much longer!

Discount Walt Disney World Tickets

Deals like that don't come around too often so be sure to take advantage of it! Disney does occasionally offer discounts on their own tickets but they are usually only for Florida Residents. That's kind of a bummer for everyone else. That's where we come in. Park Savers offers discount Disney World tickets all year round! You can save anywhere from $10 to over $50 per ticket! That's a lot of savings!

Take a look at some of our current discounts:

3-Day Park Hopper ticket: Adult Gate Price: $391.69  Park Savers Price: $361 - Save $30! Taxes Included!

5-Day Park Hopper ticket with 5th Day FREE: Adult Gate Price: $473.93 Park Savers Price: $445 - Save $29! Taxes Included!

5-Day Park Hopper Plus ticket with 5th Day FREE: Adult Gate Price: $509  Park Savers Price: $465 - Save $44!

We offer all sorts of discounts on all tickets 3 days or more!

Discount Disney World Base Tickets

Base tickets allow you to enter 1 of the 4 theme parks each day. You cannot go back and forth between parks. The most popular Base Ticket is the 4 Day Base Ticket. It allows you to experience all 4 theme parks over a 14 day period.

We typically don't suggest the Base Tickets because it's very limiting. For instance, if you choose Magic Kingdom Park one day and that happens to be the busiest park, you're stuck there the entire day with large crowds and long lines. However, the Base Tickets do cost less than the Park Hopper tickets. So if the Base Tickets fit your budget best, then go for it!

Discount Disney World Park Hopper Tickets

Park Hopper tickets allow you visit all 4 theme parks and go back and forth as much as you'd like for the length of your ticket. The most popular ticket is the 5 Day Park Hopper Ticket. It gives you 5 Days of fun at all 4 theme parks!

We always recommend the Park Hopper option as it allows you to avoid the potential large crowd in a park. If you get to Animal Kingdom and it's just crazy there, you can leave! You don't have to be stuck at a park with long lines!

Discount Disney World Park Hopper Plus Tickets

Park Hopper Plus tickets allow you to visit all 4 theme parks plus the 2 water parks and then some! It can sounds like a complicated ticket but it really isn't. Here's the breakdown:

  • You get the Park Hopper Option so you can visit all 4 theme parks on the same day for the length of your ticket.
  • You get visits to do any of the following things:

    Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park

    Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park

    Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf

    Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf

Oak Trail Golf Course 9 holes.

    ESPN World Wide Sports Complex

So how do the visits work? If you purchase a 5 Day Park Hopper Plus ticket you get 5 visits to do the above mentioned things. How you use them is up to you. The number of visits is based on the number of days your ticket it. A 5 Day ticket will give you 5 visits. A 7 Day ticket will give you 7 visits and so on.

Discount Disney World Tickets

Visits can be used how you want. If you go to Hollywood Studios for most of the day and then want to Mini Golf after, go for it! If you want to visit Typhoon Lagoon for most of the day and then Mini Golf, sweet! Just keep in mind that each visit you do removes one visit. So if you use 2 in one day, you're now down 2. You can also use visits AFTER you've visited the parks. Example:

Let's say you buy a 4 Day Park Hopper Plus ticket. Let's say you spend the first 4 days at the theme parks and you don't use any of your visits. Well now that you've used your 4 days at the parks you can still use your visits! You have 14 days from the first time you entered the parks to use EVERYTHING on your ticket including your visits!

Discount Disney World tickets are the only way to go when it comes to visiting the parks. Savings on your tickets can be used towards other things that can be expensive such as park merchandize or dining. Savings $30 per ticket for example for a family of 4 is $120! That's a lot of extra cash to use! It will make your Disney World vacation that much more memorable!

New Theme Park Additions Coming to Disneyland and Walt Disney World!

Disney Theme Parks and Resorts made some BIG announcements recently including new rides and attractions coming to both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.

Let's start on the west coast with Disneyland:

Paradise Pier to be changed to Pixar Pier

Pixar Pier will feature a brand-new look for the area now known as Paradise Pier, as some of your favorite characters come to life on this seaside waterfront. You will discover whimsical neighborhoods filled with your friends from “The Incredibles,” “Inside Out” and even more of your pals from “Toy Story.” Building upon the evolution of Disney California Adventure® Park that began in 2007, we are building more new worlds for you to step into and enjoy your favorite stories.

This permanent addition to the park will open during a new limited-time celebration taking place throughout the Disneyland® Resort in 2018 — Pixar Fest! Experience the magical worlds of Pixar in brand new ways as the entire resort comes alive with some of your favorite stories.

Pixar Pier Disneyland

At Disneyland® Park, this incredible celebration will feature a brand-new fireworks spectacular as well as the return of the guest favorite, Pixar Play Parade. That’s right! This popular parade is moving across the Esplanade, which could only mean …

The popular “Paint the Night” parade returns — this time, to Disney California Adventure® Park! And there may even be a new float joining this already amazing nighttime parade.

Marvel to immerse Hollywood Land

Soon, the Guardians of the Galaxy will be joined by Spider-Man and the Avengers in what will become a completely immersive Super Hero universe at the park.

Avengers and Marvel Land

These new stories will build on the success of the new and already popular Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: BREAKOUT! and create a place where you can team up with your favorite Super Heroes like never before. We don’t have more details to share just yet, but stay tunedas we reveal more about this one-of-a-kind experience.

Star Wars Lands receive official name; attractions

The lands, both called Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, will allow you to visit a remote trading port on the edge of wild space, where Star Wars characters and your stories come to life – and where you will find yourself in the middle of the action.

The lands will feature two major attractions that put you in the middle of a battle between the First Order and the Resistance. Each attraction – and even the land itself – will offer you the chance to immerse yourself in the Star Wars universe like never before.

One attraction will make you feel like you're on a Star Destroyer inside a hangar bay. It’s an attraction built on a scale we’ve never done before.

Galaxy's Edge

The second attraction will give you the opportunity to fly the Millenium Falcon, piloting the ship, shooting blasters or preparing for hyperspace – all while completing a critical mission. But how you perform on the mission holds even bigger stakes: perform with skill and you may earn extra galactic credits, while bringing the ship back banged up could put you on the list of a bounty hunter. End up on Harkos’s list and you may face a problem if you show up at the local cantina!

Guests will also encounter many familiar faces inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, including BB-8, Chewbacca, members of the First Order and – among many others – Rex, the troublesome pilot fans may remember from the previous version of a certain Disney attraction who takes on a new role in this land as the DJ at the cantina.

And speaking of the cantina, here you will be able to try unique concoctions like blue milk. Nearby, you’ll also be able to acquire trinkets and treasures from across the galaxy.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will open in 2019, first at the Disneyland Resort and later in the year at the Walt Disney World Resort. (No further opening dates have been announced yet.)

On the east coast at Walt Disney World Resort:

Toy Story Land Opening in Summer 2018

In 2018, you’ll find yourself shrunk to the size of a toy to explore the world of Andy’s backyard with your favorite Toy Story characters, including Woody and Buzz. And Toy Story Land will feature two new themed attractions.

Toy Story Land

Slinky Dog Dash will be a family coaster attraction where you’ll zip, dodge and dash around many turns and drops that Andy has created to really make Slinky and his coils stretch to his limits.

Alien Swirling Saucers will also be a new attraction at Toy Story Land. It’s designed as a toy play set that Andy got from Pizza Planet, inspired by the first “Toy Story” film. Aliens are flying around in their toy flying saucers and trying to capture your rocket toy vehicle with “The Claw.”

Toy Story Land will open Summer 2018.

E-Ticket Guardians of the Galaxy Attraction coming to EPCOT

A “Guardians of the Galaxy”-inspired attraction will be added to Future World, adhering to the original vision of Epcot’s Future World as the place to experience the excitement and adventure offered by space travel.

This is an addition we’re really looking forward to, as a “Guardians of the Galaxy” attraction – Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! – debuted at Disney California Adventure® park earlier this year to rave reviews from Guests. Epcot’s brand new E-ticket attraction will be based on the rockin’ and action-packed world of “Guardians of the Galaxy” and is the next step in how you can encounter these characters at the Walt Disney World Resort. Note: This new attraction will replace the current Universe of Energy attraction, which will close Aug. 13, 2017.

Guardians of the Galaxy Ride Disney World

Ratatouille attraction to be built at the France Pavilion in EPCOT

A Disney•Pixar’s “Ratatouille”-inspired attraction will also be added to the France Pavilion in World Showcase. The attraction will expand the pavilion. Similar to the 4-D attraction Ratatouille: The Adventure that opened at the Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris in 2014, your Clients will be able to shrink to Remy’s size and scurry to safety in a dazzling chase across a kitchen with the sights, sounds and smells of Gusteau’s legendary Parisian restaurant.

The ride is expected to be completed by the 50th Anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort in 2021.

Tron Ride coming to Magic Kingdom

Tron – the highest-rated attraction at Shanghai Disneyland– is coming to Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida!

The new Tron attraction will sit in an entirely new area right next to the Space Mountain attraction at Magic Kingdom® Park. Bob Chapek, Chairman of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, made the announcement during the Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts presentation at D23 Expo 2017.

Tron Ride Magic Kingdom

The TRON Lightcycle Power Run attraction at Shanghai Disneyland is a coaster-style attraction where riders board a train of two-wheeled Lightcycles. It offers access into the energy, lights and excitement of TRON’s high-tech universe and is one of the most thrilling adventures at any Disney park.

The attraction is expected to be open for the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort in 2021.

Mickey and Minnie to receive an attraction all their own at Hollywood Studios

A new attraction featuring international icon Mickey Mouse is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios® at the Walt Disney World® Resort!

On Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, you will step through the movie screen and join Mickey and his friends like never before. The attraction will put Guests inside the wacky and unpredictable world of a Mickey Mouse Cartoon Short where they're the star and anything can happen. This zany out-of-control adventure features surprising twists and turns, dazzling visual effects and mind-boggling transformations that happen before your very eyes.

Mickey and Minnie Runaway Train Ride

The attraction is inspired by the Mickey Shorts that you can see on the Disney Channel. And the people who bring you the shorts at Disney Television Animation are partnering with us to help bring the attraction to life.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will feature a new story and a new singable attraction theme song as well as a new experience we’re calling “2 1/2 D.” No glasses required. Walt Disney Imagineer Kevin Rafferty said teams are inventing new technologies that turn the flat world of a colorful cartoon short into a “dimensional display of amazingness.”

We also wanted to let you know that in order to begin to prepare the new home of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at the Chinese Theatre in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Aug. 13, 2017 will be the final day of operation for The Great Movie Ride presented by Turner Classic Movies. Until Aug. 13, you can still relive some of the greatest movie moments in history on the Great Movie Ride attraction.

New Space-themed restaurant coming to EPCOT

We're excited to unveil exciting plans to create a new restaurant at Epcot® that’ll offer amazing meals with spectacular views high above Earth – from space

EPCOT Restaurant Space

The restaurant, which will be located adjacent to the park’s Mission: SPACE attraction, will invite Guests to travel into space for amazing dining experiences in the stars.

The new space restaurant will be operated by the Patina Restaurant Group. Patina Restaurant Group operates several other restaurants at Walt Disney World® Resort including Tutto Italia and Via Napoli at Epcot and Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs®.

Star Wars-inspired hotel coming to Walt Disney World

A Star Wars-inspired resort will debut as part of the new Disney 360 vacation concept. Bob Chapek, Chairman of the Disney Theme Parks made the announcement at 2017's D23 Expo.

Star Wars Hotel Disney World

According to Bob, this revolutionary new vacation experience will be a living adventure that allows guests to immerse themselves in an entirely new form of Disney storytelling.

“It’s unlike anything that exists today.” Bob said. “From the second you arrive, you will become a part of a Star Wars story! You’ll immediately become a citizen of the galaxy and experience all that entails, including dressing up in the proper attire. Once you leave Earth, you will discover a starship alive with characters, stories, and adventures that unfold all around you. It is 100% immersive, and the story will touch every single minute of your day, and it will culminate in a unique journey for every person who visits.”

Disney Vacation Club to add a brand new resort to its list

Instead of creating an addition to an existing Walt Disney World Resort as DVC has done in the past, they will be building a brand new resort to be called " The Riviera Resort." Located near EPCOT the new resort will feature approximately 300 rooms and a rooftop dining experience that will allow guests to enjoy the fireworks of EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.

Riviera Resort Disney Vacation Club

The new resort will be the 15th Disney Vacation Club Resort. DVC members were said to be among the most loyal fans of the theme parks and that this new resort was being designed with them in mind.

The new Riviera Resort is expected to open in Fall of 2019.

Disney Skyliner will transport guests from several places at Walt Disney World

Disney announced that a new gondola transportation system call the Disney Skyliner will be put into place giving guests a bird's-eye view of the Walt Disney World Resort as they make their way from resort and theme parks.

Disney Skyliner

The Skyliner is currently set to take guests to and from the new Riviera Resort, Art of Animation, Pop Century, and Caribbean Beach resorts to Hollywood Studios and the International Gateway of EPCOT.

The Skyliner will feature different Disney characters on the outside and be completely enclosed with windows for viewing and grated areas for a fresh breeze.
